Building a Jewish World – Strengthening the ties between regions in Israel and the communities in the Diaspora

This is a joint initiative of the Department of Israel – Partnership 2000 and the Department for Jewish Zionist Education of the Jewish Agency. The project offers the following:

A framework for using the revolutionary strenght of the superhighway of information in the service of educators and Diaspora community planners and leaders.

• A framework for the development of a dynamic and continuous dialogue among the different Jewish communities. This dialogue sharpens the definition of a Jewish identity and closer ties among the communities and between them and Israel.

• Discussion focused on the significance of belonging to the Jewish people.

• A discussion that stimulates joint learning and deeper involvement in issues related to Jewish history and existence.

The methodological tools applied include:

• Distance learning facilities

• Virtual Real Virtual : integration of face to face meetings with online follow up.

• Integration in the Curriculum

• A platform rich in pedagogical activities and educational 
  resources based on the site of the Pedagogical Center http://www.jajz-ed.org.il t
