The Yitzhak Halbrecht ICT Roots Competition

The Douglas A. Goldman Center for Jewish Genealogy at the Diaspora Museum in cooperation with the Division for Junior High-Schools and the Division for Israel-Diaspora relations in the Ministry of Education is holding a competition for youngsters 11-14 years old in Israel and in the Diaspora that participate in the project “Roots”. Prizes will be awarded for three students from Israel and three from abroad for the best among the ICT projects presented in the competition.
The participants will receive close supervision during the school year and will be awarded the Ilanot software for genealogical research.Each school will choose the outstanding projects which then will be judged nationally.
