Lessons from the Holocaust: Young People talk about tolerance, cultural pluralism and democracy

The Center for Humanist Education at the Ghetto Fighters House will host several events whose core is a multi-cultural dialogue concerned with tolerance among different groups in society, democratic values, humanist education in view of what we now know about the Holocaust and its ideological causes.
The staff of the GFH will answer to questions of students from Israel and the world; Ms Raia Klisman, director of the center will connect between the students who will be asked about their opinions on issues related to tolerance and the fight against racism and antisemitism. The staff from the archives, library and the research department will provide answers to queries addressed them.
Students will be asked to express their opinion regarding two virtual exhibitions presently at the GFH Web site. One by the painter Ela Lieberman-Shiber with her testimony on the horrors of the Holocaust and the other representing the different faces of the fight against the nazi evil.
