MediaDa, a multidisciplinary computer based teaching/learning  model

The main goal of the MediaDa program is to advance the scientific- technological and communications basic knowledge of students in elementary schools through the active involvement of the students, teachers and parents in a  multi disciplinary program.
Students from grades 4th to 6th set up research projects in which they analyse phenomena from they day to day lives. They are allocated tutorial support by a multi disciplinary team of  teachers; in addition they may consult  specialists and teachers from the Oranim Teachers's College using the computerized network.
The MeidaDa virtual networked community includes specialists, teachers, teacher-trainers, pre-service teachers, students in the primary school and their teachers. Among the products of the program:
1. Research papers concerning the senses
2. Scientific journals edited by the students with the result of their research projects
3. Scientific radio programs broadcasted in their schools radio
4. Scientific video film produced by a joint team of students and teachers.
