Gan Bareshet
A Kindegarten in the Network

Gan Bareshet is a pedagogical site for
interested parties in early childhood education. It presents the policy of the Division
for Pre-Elementary Education of the Ministry of Education and the framework programs for
ages 2-3, 3-6 and special needs children.
The guidelines for integrated curricular planning are presented and also special
programs that developed as a result of local initiatives.
The main goal of this project is to establish a virtual community of educators; to
enable them to participate in experiences related to teaching/learning in early childhood
education and to be updated on current matters.
Medium range goals include the development of communication channels between the
kindergarten and the children (already in preparation) and international cooperation of
educators in early childhood education.
The translation of the resources available to Arabic and English is being planned
as well as the maintenance of several discussion groups.
The site was established by the Directorate for Science and Technology and the
Division for Pre-Elementary Education through the Supervision of Science and Technology in
Early Childhood Educationa and the Amal Network. |
