ITC in an Identity Workshop

The Identity Workshop is an elective educational activity held in the afternoons. The participants cope with dilemmas and issues related to their Israeli and Jewish identity. The climax of this process is at the end of the workshop when the students travel to Poland and visit sites related to Jewish heritage, the Hassidut Movement, cemeteries and the Holocaust.
The students that participated in the workshop serve as guides through the visit to Poland.
During the workshop the students make use of ICT to find information related to institutions and personalities. During the visit to Poland the students make use of the Internet to maintain a diary that is transmitted almost on time to their communities and families back in Israel. In 1998 it was the first year in which the community and the family were associated to the experiences and emotions of the participants through a Web site, forums and email.
