I am an artist, I
concentrate on painting. This site is intended to present some of my works, and explain
the ideas, thoughts and intentions that lye behind them and he concept exhibitions in
which they were first exposed. The topics of the paintings derive from my surroundings:
the place I live in, the Bedouin people that live nearby, Jerusalem, and more. I explore
the topics that I see around me, and things that are close to my heart, and explore them
from my point of view, that is why when I wanted to paint the Bedouin society, being a
woman, I chose to concentrate on the Bedouin woman. When a tragedy hit my sister in law
family, I dealt with the ache by painting, and dedicating an exhibition to what happened.
I hope this site will interest varied groups of people, anyone who
would like to learn about the Bedouins, Israel, see Jerusalem as it’s seen in the
eyes of an artist, and above all, try to get into the mind of an artist. |
