| The Center for Computing and
Telematics at the Midreshet Ben-Gurion established a communications network for deafs and
hard hearers. In this network several services are offered including
discussion groups, links to relevant sites, a bulletin board with information on events
and innovations, an electronic magazine "Faxiton" distributed also by fax and
Hebrew chat facilities.
A first training workshop on the use of the Internet with 30 participants has
taken place and many additional activities are planned. |
